Founded in 1990 by Alice Lim and Scott McCook, what began with Hobie Cat Fleet #492 in Singapore has grown into a legacy of competitive excellence, pioneering vision, and enduring passion for life on the water.

With Excess, we open a really fresh chapter: stylish, modern catamarans built for performing, comfort, and the sheer joy of sailing.
